GED Testing & Get Ready for College

The Adult Basic Education Program has given adults who have not graduated from high school the opportunity to earn their high school equivalency or GED (General Education Development) Diplomas. The GED Preparation classes help them to succeed in passing the comprehensive examination required for the diploma.

Classes are also available for students who need help with their basic skills in reading, writing, and mathematics. The program is designed to help them advance to the GED Preparation class, to assist them in the workplace, or to gain personal fulfillment.

Beginning readers can learn to read in a non-threatening environment that consists of a small group of students led by a reading specialist and assistant.

We offer small classes with experienced, professional instructors. Child care is also available for students during the day.
