The Adult Learning Center offers a number of courses to enrich and expand knowledge and opportunities for our students and the general community. Conversational Sign Language, Spanish Conversation, U.S. Citizenship and And Get Ready for College are current offerings. In response to the need for trained and literate employees, we offer specialized English as a Second Language and Adult Basic Education classes on-site at local businesses. These classes, paid for by the employer, reflect the efforts of management to address the literacy needs of their workers.

| GET READY FOR COLLEGE A FREE program designed to prepare students for entry into college. To qualify you must have a GED, an adult high school diploma, or a high school diploma (graduated over five years ago). Explore careers, develop study skills, sharpen your academic skills, and learn about admissions and financial aid. Students are also introduced to computer research skills. Beginning in January and August, classes are held for 15 weeks on Monday and Wednesday nights from 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Call now for an interview for acceptance into the program.
