English for Speakers of Other Languages
|
English for Speakers of Other Languages offers students from foreign countries an opportunity to learn to speak English and to learn United States' customs. ESOL Literacy classes are designed to teach English to students who have not learned to read or write in their native language. Beginning English classes are for students who understand, speak, read, and write very little English. The emphasis is on teaching students basic survival English skills. Intermediate English classes offer students an opportunity to improve their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Classes are taught in a comfortable and encouraging environment by experienced, professional instructors. More information is available at the NH State website: www.nhadulted.org |
