HiSET Testing Schedule

TESTING is in Room 300 (paper-based test) or downstairs in the Office Technology Computer Lab (computer-based test). Candidates must be seated 15 minutes in advance. Preregistration is required.  

February 7 at 4:30 PM Practice Test

February 16 at 1:00 PM Cleanup PBT

February 21/23 at 3:00 PM Final (computer based)

March 2 at 1:00 PM Practice Test

March 9 at 1:00 PM Cleanup PBT

March 14/16 at 3:00 PM Final (computer based)

April 4 at 4:30 PM Practice Test

April 13 at 1:00 Cleanup PBT

How to Schedule HiSET

Preregistration is required for all testing.  Students may register for an exam at the Adult Learning Center between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM Monday through Friday.  Alternatively, special appointments may be scheduled after 4:00 PM.  Please call to make an appointment.  Please note a minimum of 10 testers is required for each testing session. To schedule the exam you will need:

  1. Your test-taker ID (from registering on the HiSET website)
  2. A government issued picture ID such as Driver’s License, Non-driver’s License or Passport. If your government ID does not have your current address listed, you must supply two pieces of mail as proof of New Hampshire residency.
  3. The $95 examination fee in cash or money order.
  4. Proof of the successful completion of the HiSET Practice Test.

Please plan on thirty minutes to complete scheduling.

Rescheduling a HiSET

If it is necessary to reschedule a HiSET due to illness or emergency, please call the Adult Learning Center at 603-882-9080 x 201 at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation or rescheduling fee. If it is necessary to retake a HiSET due to failure of the exam or if it is necessary to reschedule a missed exam, please call the Adult Learning Center at 603-882-9080 x 201 for instructions. Candidates are allowed to take each of the five HiSET tests no more than three times during a calendar year (January through December.) Retakes cost $15 each.

The USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) is the funding source for the serving of nutritious meals in our childcare and school age care programs.
