Overview of Program
Students from all over the world learn language skills through conversation, reading, and writing in our English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) classes. They connect with each other in friendships and mutual support while learning the language, academic and communication skills that they need at work and in their family lives. ESOL covers a wide spectrum of student needs and abilities, from classes for new immigrants with limited English skills, to those who are preparing for work or college. Classes are designed for adults to learn at their own pace, guided by classroom teachers who are trained to teach adults.
