ADVENTURE CAMP SCHOOL Vacations PROGRAM
Please Note: Participation in Adventure Camp School Year Program requires a separate registration/enrollment.
Overview of Program
During school holidays and vacations Adventure Camp provides a safe, caring and fun environment where children participate in a variety of activities such as arts and crafts, sports, and field trips. Parents can work without worry!
What we Offer
- One-day holiday coverage for Columbus Day, Election Day, Veteran’s Day, the day before Thanksgiving, Martin Luther King Day, and President’s Day (follow the Nashua School calendar)
- February and April school vacation camps, which are held at Sunset Heights School
- All camps offered between 6:30 AM and 6:00 PM
Program Highlights
- “One-day” camps are theme based such as Fall Festival, Holidays and Fiestas, Jungle Safari
- Field trips (February and April vacation camps only)
- Our staff to child ratios exceed NH guidelines
- Our staff is qualified and talented
- Cooperative play is encouraged
- We provide developmentally appropriate activities and games
- Children are offered a nutritious afternoon snack

How to Enroll
- Enrollment is required for each camp
- Early signups are given to Adventure Club members
- Enrollment is open to children in first through sixth grade from all area communities

Cost
| Tuition for one-day camps is $40 per day. Tuition assistance is available for qualifying families through the NH Division of Human Services. Scholarships and sliding scale are available as are sibling discounts. |

ADVENTURE CAMP SUMMER VACATION PROGRAM

Overview of Program
Adventure Camp is an all-day program at our home-like facility on Arlington Street in Nashua. Children are grouped according to age. Two field trips each week, weekly swimming at a neighborhood pool, choices of mini-clubs, cooperative games and sports, and opportunities for service learning projects all contribute to a summer of fun and learning.
What we offer
Summer camp is held at 40 Arlington Street in Nashua, a welcoming facility with a large and inviting playground. Camp begins at 7:15 with an option to participate in a breakfast program starting at 6:30 AM. Camp closes at 6:00 PM. Our staff are talented and exceed New Hampshire state guidelines.
Program Highlights
- Fun, age-appropriate field trips on Tuesdays
- A day of fun in the sun at one of our New Hampshire State Parks on Fridays
- Private swim at Crown Hill Pool
- Fishing at the Nashua River
- Special days to bring bikes, blades or scooters to our local track
- Community service learning projects
- Cooperative play
- Developmentally appropriate activities, sports and games
- Nutritious afternoon snack

How to Enroll
Camp applications will be made available at the before and after school programs. Current Adventure Club members may apply by mail ONLY beginning March 24, 2010.
Members and non-members may apply in person or by mail beginning April 1, 2010.
If your child is entering grade 1 – 3, fill out the Group 1 application.
If your child is entering grade 4 – 7, please fill out the Group 2 application.
Both applications must be accompanied with the Options page to indicate the week or weeks your child will be attending along with a signed tuition agreement. A confirmation will be sent to you.
